About the role
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
Identify and recruit expert speakers, thought leaders, and industry influencers who can contribute valuable insights to the conference.
Manage speaker relationships, including communication, logistics, and content coordination.
Work with speakers to develop captivating session topics and synopses that align with the conference's overall theme and objectives.
Collaborate with speakers to develop compelling presentation content that aligns with the conference theme and objectives.
Craft engaging session synopses that effectively communicate the content and benefits of each session to potential attendees.
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote conferences and drive attendee registration.
Utilize a mix of digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, and partnerships to increase event visibility and reach.
Apply creative branding strategies to ensure consistent and impactful messaging across all promotional materials.
Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities from relevant companies and organizations to support event funding.
Establish and nurture partnerships with industry associations, media outlets, and other stakeholders to enhance event exposure.
Ensure all logistical aspects of the conference, such as venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, and attendee registration, are meticulously planned and executed.
Monitor project timelines and milestones to ensure the event stays on track.
Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback from attendees, sponsors, and speakers to identify areas of improvement for future conferences.
Analyze the success of marketing strategies and make recommendations for enhancing future promotional efforts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Preferred experience in conference production, event planning, and marketing.
Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing tactics, and social media platforms.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Creative thinker with the ability to develop unique conference formats, marketing campaigns, and branding strategies.
Proficiency in using event management software and tools.
Networking skills to establish and maintain relationships with speakers, sponsors, and partners.
Experience in sourcing and managing speakers, as well as crafting session synopses.
Analytical mindset to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
