Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle PaaS Administrator to provide administration, operational support, and troubleshooting for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments. This role is responsible for supporting OCI services including Autonomous Database, Identity, and Integration services, with a focus on platform stability, security, and service continuity. The administrator will coordinate database backups and patching activities, manage user access, monitor system health, and work closely with Oracle and client teams to resolve issues and maintain reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments, including Autonomous Database, Identity, and Integration services.
- Coordinate and monitor database backup, recovery, and patching activities to ensure platform availability and compliance with operational standards.
- Perform user access administration, including provisioning, deprovisioning, role assignment, and access reviews.
- Troubleshoot platform, database, identity, and integration issues in collaboration with Oracle support and client teams.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and incident trends, and take corrective action as needed.
- Support environment configuration, maintenance, and operational readiness across development, test, and production instances.
- Document support procedures, configurations, known issues, and resolution steps.
- Assist with security, audit, and compliance activities related to cloud platform administration.
- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience administering Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Identity services, and Oracle Integration services.
- Knowledge of backup, patching, access management, and production support processes.
- Experience troubleshooting cloud platform issues in a multi-team environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with client stakeholders and vendor support teams.
