Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hardware Design Engineer role based in Devanahalli. The Hardware Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic hardware components and systems for LiDAR applications in strategic technology sectors. Daily activities include creating circuit schematics, defining hardware architecture, collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, and performing simulations and validation of designs. The role involves preparing design documentation, supporting prototyping and integration, and troubleshooting hardware issues during development and deployment. The engineer will also contribute to design reviews, ensure compliance with performance and reliability standards, and support continuous improvement of design methodologies and tools.
Qualifications
- B.Tech./M.Tech. in Electronics/Electrical/Power Electronics Engineering or related fields with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred Experience with laser current drivers, GaN drivers, Photodetectors, TIAs, op-amps, comparators, Filters, and DC-DC converters.
- Candidates should possess the ability to define and optimize Hardware Architecture.
- Proficiency in Hardware design, schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium/Allegro, OrCAD), and hardware debugging instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with FPGA board design and high-speed signal routing
- proficiency in Python, MATLAB and C/C++
- Experience in designing hardware for defense, space, semiconductor, or high-performance EOIR applications is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment are important.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies are desirable.
