Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electronics Engineer role based at Model Institute of Engineering and Technology in Jammu & Kashmir, India. The Electronics Engineer will support academic and laboratory activities, including designing and analyzing electronic circuits, maintaining and upgrading lab equipment, and assisting in practical sessions for students. Responsibilities include conducting testing and measurement of electronic systems, troubleshooting hardware issues, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The role may also involve collaborating with faculty on research projects, developing instructional materials, and participating in departmental initiatives to enhance the electronics and electrical engineering curriculum. The engineer is expected to work closely with students, colleagues, and technical staff to foster a hands-on, industry-relevant learning environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong foundational skills in Electronic Engineering and Electronics.
- Candidates should possess skills in Circuit Design and related hardware implementation.
- Candidates should possess knowledge in Electrical Engineering and associated systems.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Testing, measurement, and troubleshooting of electronic circuits and devices.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., B.E./B.Tech in Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electrical Engineering) from a recognized institution.
- Experience with laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and safety procedures is beneficial.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly, support student learning, and work collaboratively in an academic environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills; familiarity with industry-standard design and simulation tools is an advantage.
