Job Title: Electronics Components Librarian
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update electronic component libraries (symbols, footprints, 3D models).
- Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and lifecycle status.
- Support engineers with new component requests and resolve library issues.
- Maintain standards, naming conventions, and library documentation.
- Review and validate component datasheets to ensure correct parametric entry.
- Monitor component obsolescence and support alternatives/second source identification.
- Ensure library adherence to IPC and internal PCB design standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement of library processes and tools.
Background & Qualifications
- B. Tech in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
- 4+ years of total experience, 2+ years of experience with ECAD tools (Preferably Altium).
- Strong understanding of electronic components and IPC footprint standards.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to collaborate across engineering teams.
