Electronics Repair Engineer (Industrial Electronics)
Location: Arumbakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu (On-site)

Job Summary
We are looking for an Electronics Repair Engineer with strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for component-level repair. The role involves diagnosing and repairing industrial electronic assemblies including HMIs, PLCs, industrial PCs, power supplies, control boards, operator panels, instrumentation, and machine control electronics.
This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving challenging electronic faults rather than replacing complete boards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair industrial electronic PCBs at component level.
- Troubleshoot analog, digital, power electronics, and embedded control circuits.
- Repair HMIs, industrial PCs, PLC modules, power supplies, display units, operator panels, and automation electronics.
- Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, LCR meters, bench power supplies, signal generators, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Perform SMD and through-hole soldering, desoldering, and component replacement.
- Identify failed components using circuit analysis rather than trial-and-error replacement.
- Read and interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and technical documentation.
- Perform functional testing and burn-in testing after repairs.
- Document repair findings and maintain repair records.
- Support continuous improvement by sharing repair techniques and documenting recurring failures.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics.
- Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience repairing multilayer PCBs.
- Knowledge of power electronics including:
- MOSFETs
- IGBTs
- SCRs
- Power supplies
- DC-DC converters
- Ability to use: Oscilloscope, Digital Multimeter, LCR Meter, Hot Air Rework Station, Soldering Station
- Good understanding of electronic components and semiconductor devices.
- Ability to read circuit diagrams and datasheets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
