Role Description As an Electron Developer Intern at Codevern, you will support the development of cross-platform desktop applications using Electron and related web technologies. Day-to-day tasks include implementing UI components, integrating APIs, debugging and testing features, and collaborating with senior developers to refine application architecture. You will assist in writing clean, maintainable code, updating documentation, and participating in code reviews and technical discussions. This is a full-time, unpaid internship in a hybrid setup, with the role based in Lucknow and flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in building real-world software products within a supportive and learning-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Foundational skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with an interest in building desktop applications using Electron or similar frameworks.
- Basic understanding of Node.js, npm, and common front-end libraries or frameworks (such as React or Vue) is preferred.
- Ability to work with Git or other version control systems, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
- Comfort with debugging, testing, and troubleshooting application issues in a structured manner.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in both in-office and remote team settings.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma, or relevant coursework in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Interest in AI-driven business solutions, automation, or sales technologies is a plus.
