Position & Administrative Data

Role Purpose & Statutory Responsibilities Role Summary:
The Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer serves as the sole authoritative node for translating abstract concepts, images, and legacy components into production-ready, highly resilient autonomous hardware. This role requires end-to-end ownership of the physical and electronic design lifecycle for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and applied robotics, heavily emphasizing IP69K ingress protection standards and Design for Additive Manufacturing (DFAM).
Core Responsibilities:
- Reverse Engineering & Ideation: Convert unstructured inputs (verbal descriptions, 2D images, damaged parts) into precise, parametrically fully defined 3D CAD models.
- Mechanical & Structural Design: Engineer complex mechanical assemblies for aerospace and robotic applications, ensuring stress, thermal, and weight optimization.
- Electrical/Mechanical Integration: Design enclosures, wire routing, and PCB mounting architectures that guarantee physical integrity and heat dissipation for embedded systems.
- IP69K Compliance: Architect sealing strategies, potting solutions, and enclosure designs that withstand high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns without failure.
- Production & 3D Printing Prep: Deliver strict Design for Manufacturing (DFM) files tailored specifically for industrial 3D printing (FDM, SLA, and SLS) and rapid prototyping workflows.
- Cross-Functional Output: Generate and maintain all Technical Data Packages (TDP), Bill of Materials (BOM), and assembly SOPs for the manufacturing unit.
Technical Hard Skills (Mandatory Proficiency):
- Mechanical CAD: Autodesk Fusion 360, SOLIDWORKS, Autodesk Inventor, PTC Creo and AutoCAD
- EDA/PCB Design: Altium Designer, KiCad, OR EAGLE.
- Surface/Mesh Modeling: Blender (for complex topological rendering and organic reverse engineering).
- Domain Expertise: Deep applied knowledge of advanced robotics kinematics, aerospace material science, and electromechanical systems integration.
Eligibility, Qualifications, & Experience Minimum Education:
- B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechatronics, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering from an AICTE/UGC-recognized institution.
Professional Registrations:
- Valid engineering degree certificate; no active professional barring from state or national engineering bodies.
Relevant Work Experience:
- Strict minimum of (3 to 4) years of documented, verifiable industrial experience in mechanical/robotics design.
Core Behavioral & Operational Competencies:
- 100% adherence to internal ISO/AS9100 documentation protocols and standardized DFM tolerance checks.
- High autonomous problem-solving capacity; requires minimal technical supervision.
- Rigorous adherence to version control (PDM/PLM systems) and structural documentation standards.

Compensation:
- Fixed CTC: ₹600,000 Per Annum (6 LPA).
Health, Safety, & Physical Demands:
- Potential exposure to high-speed automated machinery, industrial 3D printing resins/fumes, and electronic soldering fumes.
- Prolonged visual screen time (CAD/EDA work) averaging 6-8 hours daily.
- Occasional lifting of prototype assemblies and raw materials (strictly capped at 20 kg to comply with safe ergonomic limits).

Ltd. under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, and the Patents Act, 1970. During the tenure of employment, the employee is strictly prohibited from moonlighting, consulting, or engaging in any secondary employment.
- Non-Solicitation: The employee shall not directly or indirectly solicit any clients, vendors, or employees of Ram Taranga Aero Systems Pvt. Ltd.
- Anti-Moonlighting Policy: This is a full-time, exclusive employment agreement. Engaging in secondary employment, freelance work, or consulting (moonlighting) during the tenure of employment is strictly prohibited.
- Strict NDA & Data Privacy: The candidate will handle highly sensitive proprietary technology and must sign a strict Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and non-compete clause. The candidate must comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.
- IP Assignment: All code, hardware designs, AI models, and products developed during employment will remain the sole and absolute intellectual property of Ram Taranga Aero Systems PVT LTD. Company Assets: The candidate will be responsible for the safekeeping of expensive hardware, prototypes, and electronics assigned to them. Any damages due to gross negligence or failure to return assets upon exit will be legally recoverable from the final settlement.
