Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of electrical systems across our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of industrial electrical equipment, preventive maintenance practices, and safety standards to ensure maximum plant uptime and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant electrical systems.
* Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in motors, panels, VFDs, MCCs, transformers, and control circuits.
* Monitor the health of electrical equipment and recommend improvements to reduce downtime.
* Perform installation, commissioning, and testing of new electrical equipment.
* Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
* Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations.
* Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts.
* Coordinate with mechanical and production teams for smooth plant operations.
* Manage electrical contractors and supervise maintenance work when required.
* Identify opportunities for energy conservation and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
* Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
* 2–5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
* Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply.
Required Skills
* Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
* Hands-on experience with VFDs, PLCs, MCC panels, motors, sensors, and switchgear.
* Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently.
* Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance.
* Familiarity with electrical safety practices and lockout/tagout procedures.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to work in shifts if required.
Preferred Experience
* Experience in mineral processing, crushing plants, conveyors, or manufacturing industries will be an added advantage.
