Role Description The Electrician at Radisson Blu Ujjain is a full-time, on-site role responsible for ensuring safe and reliable electrical operations throughout the property. Daily tasks include inspecting and maintaining electrical systems, performing routine and preventive maintenance, and repairing electrical equipment, fixtures, and wiring as needed. The role involves troubleshooting electrical faults, responding to guest and staff service requests, and supporting hotel operations by minimizing downtime and safety risks. The Electrician collaborates closely with the engineering and maintenance teams, follows all safety and compliance standards, and keeps accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Strong practical knowledge of electricity and electrical work, including safe handling of tools and equipment.
- Experience in maintenance & repair of hotel or commercial building electrical systems and components.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues and diagnosing faults in a timely, systematic manner.
- Background or formal training in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Relevant technical certification, license, or diploma in electrical trade (as required by local regulations).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, manuals, and safety guidelines.
- Commitment to health and safety standards, with attention to detail and compliance with codes.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Previous experience in hospitality, facility management, or similar environments is an advantage.
