Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Ahmedabad. The Electrician will install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems and equipment across cinema facilities, ensuring safe and reliable operation. Responsibilities include performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults, and carrying out repairs in compliance with safety standards and local regulations. The role involves supporting power and lighting systems, cinema projection and audio equipment, and backup power solutions, while keeping detailed records of work performed. The Electrician will collaborate with facility management and external vendors to minimize downtime and maintain a smooth cinema experience for guests.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electricity and core Electrical Work.
- Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance & Repair for electrical systems and equipment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting electrical issues and identifying root causes.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles relevant to building and cinema infrastructure.
- Relevant technical diploma or ITI certification in electrical trade; valid electrician license where applicable.
- Experience working in commercial or industrial facilities; cinema or entertainment venue experience is an advantage.
- Good understanding of electrical safety practices, local electrical codes, and emergency procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, manuals, and schematics; basic computer literacy for maintenance logs.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work independently or within a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by cinema operations.
