Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Technician role based in Ahmedabad. The Electrical Technician will install, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment used in home automation and home theatre solutions, including wiring, panels, control devices, and safety systems. Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues, performing routine preventive maintenance, and ensuring all work complies with relevant safety standards and local regulations. The role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics, collaborating with designers, engineers, and installation teams, and documenting work performed and materials used. The Electrical Technician will also support system commissioning, conduct functional checks, and provide basic guidance to clients on the safe use of installed electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong technical skills in Electrical Engineering and a solid understanding of Electricity principles.
- Candidates should possess hands-on Electrical Maintenance experience with residential or commercial electrical systems.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in working safely with Electrical Equipment, tools, and measurement instruments.
- Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing and resolving electrical faults and system issues.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams.
