Role Description The Electrical Technician role at PVRINOX Pictures is a full-time, on-site position based in Jammu. The role involves performing routine electrical maintenance for cinema facilities, including inspection, repair, and servicing of electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations. The Electrical Technician will diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, respond to breakdowns, and coordinate with technical and facility teams to minimize downtime. Daily responsibilities include working with wiring, lighting, power distribution, and audiovisual-related electrical infrastructure, following relevant safety standards and company procedures. The role also includes maintaining documentation of maintenance activities, supporting preventive maintenance schedules, and collaborating with external vendors or contractors when needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in electrical maintenance and handling electrical equipment safely and effectively.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of electricity principles and practical experience with electrical engineering concepts.
- Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing and resolving electrical faults in cinema and facility environments.
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in facility or industrial electrical maintenance, ideally in entertainment, hospitality, or commercial infrastructure, is beneficial.
- Knowledge of electrical safety regulations, local codes, and preventive maintenance practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per cinema operations.
- Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
