Role Description The Electrical Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Andhra Pradesh, India. The Electrical Technician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation in accordance with relevant standards and procedures. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, diagnosing electrical faults, carrying out troubleshooting and corrective actions, and documenting maintenance activities. The role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals, coordinating with supervisors and other technicians, and following strict safety and compliance protocols. The Electrical Technician will also support continuous improvement by identifying potential issues, recommending solutions, and assisting with upgrades or modifications to electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Strong practical skills in Electrical Maintenance and handling Electrical Equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Solid understanding of Electricity principles and basic Electrical Engineering concepts relevant to installation and repair work.
- Proven ability in Troubleshooting electrical issues, including diagnosing faults and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Relevant technical qualification or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with hands-on experience in industrial or commercial environments.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards, local regulations, and best practices, with a commitment to safe work procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Good communication skills, teamwork abilities, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Experience with basic testing instruments (e.g., multimeters, insulation testers) and preventive maintenance practices is an advantage.
