Role Description The Electrical Technician is a full-time hybrid role based in Sriperumbudur, with the flexibility to perform some tasks from home. The role involves performing routine and preventive electrical maintenance on building systems and equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation. The Electrical Technician will diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, repair or replace faulty components, and support electrical installations and upgrades as needed. This position includes documenting maintenance activities, following safety and compliance standards, coordinating with facility managers and other technical teams, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives related to energy efficiency and system performance.
Qualifications
- Strong practical skills in Electrical Maintenance and handling Electrical Equipment in commercial or industrial facilities.
- Solid understanding of Electricity and Electrical Engineering principles relevant to building systems and infrastructure.
- Proven ability in Troubleshooting electrical faults, diagnosing root causes, and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in facilities management, industrial plants, or similar environments is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model in Sriperumbudur and adapt to changing operational needs.
