Role Description The Electrical Technician role at ELECRAWAVE PVT. LTD. is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat. The Electrical Technician will perform routine and preventive electrical maintenance on UPS systems and related power quality equipment, ensuring reliable and safe operation. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing and commissioning electrical equipment, diagnosing and troubleshooting faults, performing repairs, and conducting regular inspections and testing. The role also involves documenting work performed, maintaining accurate service records, following safety protocols and electrical standards, and collaborating with engineers and other team members to support projects and resolve complex technical issues. The Electrical Technician may interact with clients on-site to explain findings, provide basic operational guidance, and support continuous improvement in system performance.
Qualifications
- Strong practical knowledge of electricity and electrical engineering principles, including AC/DC systems and power distribution.
- Hands-on experience with electrical maintenance and servicing of UPS systems and other electrical equipment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical faults, diagnosing issues, and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Ability to safely work with electrical equipment, interpret technical drawings and schematics, and use standard test instruments.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Understanding of electrical safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team and interact professionally with clients.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
