Job Summary:
The MEP Engineer is responsible for planning, execution, supervision, coordination, and monitoring of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works at construction sites, ensuring quality, safety, and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and execute all MEP works at project sites.
- Review MEP drawings, layouts, BOQ, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, civil team, consultants, vendors, and clients for smooth execution.
- Ensure installation work is completed as per approved drawings and project standards.
- Monitor electrical, plumbing, firefighting, HVAC, and drainage systems execution.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work progress reports.
- Ensure material planning, inspection, and site availability for MEP activities.
- Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Handle testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Resolve site-level technical issues related to MEP works.
- Verify subcontractor bills and work measurements.
- Maintain project documentation, inspection reports, and work records.
- Ensure timely completion of MEP activities as per project schedule.
- Coordinate with procurement team for required materials and vendor support.
- Attend client and project review meetings whenever required.
Educational Qualification:
Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or relevant field
Experience:
3–6 years of experience in construction/project execution.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and utility systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and AutoCAD layouts.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and team management ability.
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards in construction projects.
