Role Overview:- We at Bombay Tools Centre are focused on industrial safety tools and equipment, with a growing presence across railways, power utilities, and infrastructure sectors. With our expanding range of insulated and non-sparking tools, we are actively strengthening our presence in railway applications. We are looking for enthusiastic Engineering Interns to work closely with our team on understanding railway systems, identifying application areas, and supporting how our safety tools are aligned with real-world maintenance practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Map key organizations such as:
o Indian Railways
o SNT-Signal & Telecommunications
• Study & identify various electrical maintenance activities:
o OHE (Overhead Equipment) systems
o Traction systems
o Railway electrical panels and yard systems
• Identify and understand users:
o Railway electrical engineers
o Maintenance teams
o OHE technicians
o Safety Tools
Research:
o Where and how insulated tools are used in railway operations
o Safety standards and compliance in railway maintenance
o Practical challenges faced during live-line or field work
• Support basic technical inputs and tender-related understanding
