Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and technically strong professional for the Electrical & Maintenance department to oversee critical electrical infrastructure, HVAC systems, and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in managing data centre facilities, DG sets, chiller plants, and PAC units while ensuring uninterrupted operations, preventive maintenance, and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily operations of electrical and maintenance functions across the facility.
- Ensure smooth functioning and preventive maintenance of critical electrical systems and infrastructure.
- Handle operations and maintenance of DG Sets up to 1000 KVA.
- Manage and monitor water-cooled chiller plants, HVAC systems, and PAC Units.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply and operational efficiency for data centre environments.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities for electrical and mechanical systems.
- Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, and AMC partners for maintenance and service support.
- Monitor electrical load distribution, power consumption, and energy optimization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and operational SOPs.
- Supervise maintenance teams, technicians, and support staff.
- Prepare maintenance schedules, incident reports, downtime analysis, and MIS reports.
- Handle emergency breakdowns and ensure quick resolution of technical issues.
- Support facility expansion, installation, and infrastructure upgrade projects when required.
- Maintain proper documentation related to electrical systems, maintenance logs, and audits.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC operations, and facility maintenance.
- Hands-on experience in managing data centre infrastructure.
- Expertise in handling:
- DG Sets (1000 KVA)
- Water-Cooled Chiller Plants
- PAC Units
- Electrical Panels & UPS Systems
- Good understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Team management and vendor coordination abilities.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, compliance, and operational standards.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
Educational Qualification:
- B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
- Additional certifications in HVAC, Electrical Maintenance, or Facility Management will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in Electrical & Maintenance operations.
- Prior experience in Data Centre operations is mandatory.
