Qualifications and Experience Required

Minimum B. Tech / M. Tech from an institution of repute.
Extensive knowledge and experience of design in the water industry.
An appreciation of the implications of works on the environment and knowledge of sustainable solutions, water and wastewater processes and health and safety legislation.
The ability to work with engineers from all disciplines and other industry professionals to optimise and develop bespoke and innovative designs.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT or Plant 3D as well as MS Office Software.
Strong interpersonal / team working skills, with a good working relationship with all levels of the organisation, clients and contractors

Key points:

A degree or higher technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
Solid experience in a project engineering environment, with a strong understanding of electrical design and project delivery.
A proven ability to design and administer electrical projects, particularly for water sector assets.
Excellent knowledge of electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment, including instrumentation and power supply design.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to apply practical experience to complex challenges.
Experience in applying CDM regulations and ensuring safety standards are adhered to in designs.
A proactive approach to learning and development, with a keen interest in embracing new technologies and improving efficiency.
A commitment to safety, ensuring all designs comply with CDM regulations and health and safety practices.
