Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Jaipur. The Electrical Engineer will design, analyze, and optimize electrical systems that integrate SuryaSparks’ solar technologies with building infrastructure and smart devices. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing electrical schematics, selecting components, and designing power distribution and protection systems for LSC Window installations. The role involves performing simulations, load calculations, and safety assessments, as well as preparing technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and installation guidelines. The Electrical Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support prototyping and testing, assist in troubleshooting field issues, and ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes and standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electricity and Electrical Engineering, with the ability to apply core principles to solar and building-integrated systems.
- Hands-on experience or coursework in Electrical Design and Power Distribution for low- and medium-voltage applications.
- Knowledge of Power Systems, including load flow, protection coordination, and integration with existing grid or on-site generation.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices (e.g., IEC, NEC or equivalent).
- Proficiency with electrical design and simulation tools (such as AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar) is preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, create clear documentation, and work effectively with cross-functional engineering and installation teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and safety.
- Interest in renewable energy, cleantech innovation, and building-integrated photovoltaic solutions.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently on-site in Jaipur.
