Role Description The Electrical Engineer role at Suryamitra Exim Private Limited is a full-time, on-site position located in Bhimavaram. The Electrical Engineer will design, develop, and maintain electrical systems that support shrimp processing operations, including machinery, plant equipment, and power distribution networks. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing electrical schematics, conducting load calculations, monitoring power systems performance, and ensuring safe and efficient use of electricity throughout the facility. The role involves troubleshooting equipment issues, coordinating with maintenance and production teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant electrical standards and safety regulations. The Electrical Engineer will also support energy efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement projects within the plant.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, with practical knowledge of Electricity and industrial applications.
- Experience in Electrical Design for plant machinery, control panels, and automation systems.
- Knowledge of Power Systems, including power generation, protection, and system reliability.
- Hands-on experience with Power Distribution in industrial environments, including switchgear, transformers, and distribution panels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Understanding of relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Prior experience in food processing or manufacturing plants is an advantage.
