Job details:

Sioux India, based in Pune, is a growing engineering centre working embedded within international project teams, collaborating daily with engineers in the Netherlands, Singapore, and Vietnam across the full product lifecycle. At Sioux India, you are a core part of the engineering team with real ownership of your domain and a genuine path to grow into senior and lead roles across our global network. The machines our Pune team contributes to end up inside some of the world's most advanced semiconductor fabs, analytical laboratories, and medical facilities.

THE ROLE

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with solid EPLAN expertise to contribute to electrical design and configuration management across multiple high-tech machine builds. You will work within an experienced multidisciplinary team, taking ownership of your design tasks from requirements through to release-ready documentation.

You will produce EPLAN schematics and controlled documentation for semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment, and grow your expertise in configuration management as you take on more complex machine variants and builds. Prior experience in semiconductor capital equipment or a closely related high-precision industry is a strong advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain EPLAN Electric P8 schematics, single-line diagrams, cabinet layouts (EPLAN Pro Panel), wiring lists, BOMs, and cable calculations for new and existing machine builds.
  • Own the EPLAN configuration management cycle: define, version, and maintain distinct build configurations (project templates, parts databases, macro libraries, form sets) for each machine platform.
  • Govern EPLAN project standards: naming conventions, symbol libraries, plot frames, and revision control workflows, ensuring consistency across the engineering team.
  • Manage multi-variant machine configurations, maintaining clear separation of documentation sets across product families, machine generations, and customer-specific variants.
  • Configure and audit legacy EPLAN drawings, identify quality issues, and bring older projects into current standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in electronics, mechanics, software, and physics to ensure designs are buildable, testable, and compliant with design-for-manufacturability and design-for-serviceability principles.
  • Support panel build and commissioning teams with controlled, release-ready documentation packages.

REQUIREMENTS

Must-have

  • B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • 3+ years of electrical design experience in an industrial or high-tech machinery environment
  • Proficient working knowledge of EPLAN Electric P8: schematic creation, parts database, and project standards
  • Experience producing EPLAN drawings including master plans, wiring lists, and cable calculations
  • AC power and control panel design knowledge (UL 508A or IEC standards)
  • Familiarity with Engineering Change Management (ECM) and BOM release processes
  • Understanding of IEC 60204-1 and core electrical safety standards (NEC, UL, SEMI)
  • Ability to select components for power distribution, protection circuits, sensors, and I/O controllers
  • Experience in semiconductor, wafer processing, etch/deposition, or analytical equipment

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Global engineering exposure. Work embedded in international teams on machines used in the world's most advanced fabs and laboratories.
  • Personal development budget. Every Sioux engineer receives a dedicated annual training budget with career coaching and a personal people manager.
  • Onsite opportunities. Short and long-term assignments at Sioux offices and client sites in the Netherlands, Singapore, and beyond.
  • Varied, meaningful work. Semiconductor precision machines, analytical instruments, and medical devices. No two projects are the same.
  • Competitive compensation. Health insurance for you and your family, annual health check, and professional development support.
