Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Maintenance & Repair: Conducting preventive maintenance and troubleshooting electrical systems across the campus, including high-voltage equipment and building utilities.
- Design & Installation: Designing, planning, and overseeing the installation of new electrical systems, circuits, and components to improve efficiency and capability.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensuring all electrical installations, repairs, and infrastructure meet regulatory requirements and safety codes.
- Project Management: Managing projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with vendors or contractors for outsourced services.
- Technical Support for Research: Supporting faculty and researchers by setting up, testing, and calibrating specialized equipment in laboratories.
- Administrative Duties: Documenting system specifications, creating, and updating maintenance records, and preparing technical reports.

Common Skills Required
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and CAD software.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and repair complex technical issues.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong problem solving, technical, math and science skills
