Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Electrical Engineer will design, review, and maintain electrical systems for retail stores, warehouses, and related infrastructure, ensuring safety, reliability, and energy efficiency. Responsibilities include preparing electrical layouts, overseeing power distribution and lighting systems, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and supporting installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The role involves troubleshooting electrical issues, performing regular inspections, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. The Electrical Engineer will collaborate with operations, facilities, and store development teams to support new store openings, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Electricity fundamentals.
- Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design and layout planning for commercial or retail environments.
- Candidates should possess experience in Power Systems and Power Distribution for low- and medium-voltage installations.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with safety standards, electrical codes, and compliance requirements relevant to building services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in building services, retail, warehousing, or similar infrastructure environments is preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, use relevant design software, and document specifications clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
