Role Description The Electrical Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Raipur, focused on supporting EPC infrastructure projects, primarily in government sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and reviewing electrical systems and layouts, preparing technical drawings and documentation, and assisting in cost estimation and material specifications. The role involves overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems at project sites, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, codes, and safety regulations. The Electrical Engineer will coordinate with project managers, civil and mechanical teams, and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues, track project progress, and support timely delivery. Additional tasks include performing site inspections, contributing to quality assurance processes, and preparing reports and project documentation for internal and client use.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in electrical system design, power distribution, and equipment selection for infrastructure and EPC projects.
- Proficiency in technical documentation, including preparation of drawings, BOQs, specifications, and commissioning reports.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations, with practical experience in testing and commissioning.
- Competence in using engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, basic electrical calculation tools) and MS Office applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience in construction or infrastructure projects, especially government projects, is highly desirable.
- Ability to work on-site in Raipur, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality, environmental, and safety practices aligned with ISO and OHSAS standards.
