Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in the Pune Division. The Electrical Engineer will design and develop electrical systems and components for power distribution, lighting, telecom power, and industrial power solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations. Daily responsibilities include preparing detailed electrical schematics, performing load calculations, supporting product development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in R&D, manufacturing, and quality. The role involves troubleshooting electrical issues, optimizing system performance, and providing technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning. The Electrical Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, documentation, and adherence to project timelines and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and electricity principles, with the ability to apply them to industrial and commercial applications.
- Proficiency in electrical design and power systems, including analysis, modeling, and system integration.
- Experience with power distribution systems, protection schemes, and related standards and safety practices.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications, and use relevant electrical design software and CAD tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, power electronics, lighting, telecom power, or industrial power environments is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document designs, test reports, and technical recommendations clearly.
