Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Kozhikode. The Electrical Engineer will design and review electrical systems, including power distribution and related components for industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include preparing drawings and specifications, performing load calculations, and ensuring designs comply with applicable standards and safety regulations. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, supervising installation work, and supporting testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems. The Electrical Engineer will also maintain documentation, assist in project planning, and provide technical guidance to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, including knowledge of electricity and core engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design, including preparation of schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Experience with Power Distribution and Power Systems, including load analysis, system protection, and safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to use electrical design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP or similar tools) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- Prior experience in industrial or building electrical projects in a similar role is preferred.
