Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Ahmedabad. The Electrical Engineer will design, review, and optimize electrical systems for solar rooftop and ground-mounted projects, including power distribution and grid integration. Responsibilities include preparing electrical drawings and documentation, performing load calculations, selecting appropriate equipment, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations. The role involves coordinating with project managers, installation teams, and suppliers to support smooth project execution and timely commissioning. The Electrical Engineer will also troubleshoot electrical issues, support maintenance activities, and contribute to continuous improvement of system performance and design practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with a clear understanding of fundamental concepts and practical applications.
- Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design and Power Systems, including designing solar power systems, grid-tied configurations, and system protection schemes.
- Candidates should possess skills in Power Distribution, covering layout planning, cable sizing, switchgear selection, and load management for solar installations.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience in solar PV projects, grid-tied inverter systems, and on-site project execution is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with national and international electrical codes, safety standards, and renewable energy regulations.
- Proficiency in electrical design and simulation tools; basic knowledge of CAD software is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and on-site environment.
