Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical Engineer based in Chennai, India. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components, including overseeing power distribution and system integration. Day-to-day tasks will involve evaluating project specifications, supervising the installation and testing of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and troubleshooting technical issues as they arise. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Electrical Design and a solid knowledge base in Electrical Engineering
- Understanding of Power Distribution and Power Systems
- Strong grasp of electricity fundamentals and their application in a practical context
- Relevant experience in infrastructure or industrial projects is an advantage
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of safety standards, regulations, and compliance practices in electrical engineering
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders
