Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Hyderabad. The Electrical Engineer will design, review, and implement electrical systems for data center infrastructure, including power distribution and backup systems. Responsibilities include preparing technical drawings and specifications, performing load calculations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, and coordinating with project, installation, and maintenance teams. The role involves troubleshooting electrical issues, supporting commissioning activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and efficient power systems for data center operations. The Electrical Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and documentation of electrical design and system performance.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with solid understanding of fundamental concepts and safety standards.
- Candidates should possess practical expertise in Power Systems and Power Distribution, including design, analysis, and implementation in industrial or data center environments.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Electrical Design, including creating schematics, layouts, and technical documentation using relevant design tools.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience with data center or critical infrastructure projects is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and best practices related to electrical installations and power systems.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
- Effective communication skills and readiness to support field activities, inspections, and maintenance as required.
