Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Industrial Automation Systems
Location: Vadodara (Onsite)
Experience: 1–3 years
Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and support electrical systems for industrial automation projects. The role focuses on control panel design, electrical integration, wiring, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of automation systems including conveyors, robotics, and material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Design & Engineering
- Design and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for control panels and field components
- Work on control panel design using tools like AutoCAD / EPLAN
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards and safety regulations
Control Panel & System Integration
- Assemble, inspect, and test control panels (PLC, VFD, MCC panels)
- Select and integrate electrical components such as:
- Circuit breakers, relays, contactors
- Power supplies, terminal blocks
- Sensors, encoders, actuators
- Support PLC panel wiring and I/O interfacing
Drives & Motion Hardware Support
- Work with VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) and basic tuning
- Assist in servo motor wiring and electrical setup
- Ensure proper power distribution and load calculations
Field Installation & Commissioning
- Handle onsite electrical installation, cable routing, and termination
- Support machine commissioning and electrical troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in industrial systems
Industrial Communication & Interfaces
- Assist in implementation and wiring of communication protocols:
- Profinet, Profibus
- EtherNet/IP
- Modbus (TCP/RTU)
- RS-232 / RS-485
- Ensure proper shielding, grounding, and noise reduction practices
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Troubleshoot issues related to:
- Power systems
- Field devices
- Control panels
- Support 24×7 operational systems when required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering
- 1–3 years of experience in industrial electrical systems
- Strong understanding of:
- Electrical schematics and panel wiring
- Industrial components and protection systems
- Hands-on experience in control panel building and site wiring
- Basic knowledge of PLC systems and I/O interfacing
- Experience in onsite installation and commissioning
Good to Have
- Experience with EPLAN / AutoCAD Electrical
- Exposure to servo systems and robotics wiring
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards (IEC, ISO, etc.)
- Experience in high-speed automation environments
