Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer with strong hands-on expertise in E3D and S3D (Smart 3D) for Oil & Gas / EPC projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing electrical designs, 3D modeling, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop detailed electrical 3D models using E3D / S3D for Oil & Gas projects
- Prepare cable tray layouts, cable routing, and equipment layouts
- Design lighting, earthing, and lightning protection systems
- Generate 2D drawings such as layout drawings, sections, and installation details
- Extract MTO (Material Take-Off) from 3D models
- Coordinate with Instrumentation, Piping, Civil, and Structural teams for clash-free design
- Participate in model reviews and resolve design issues
- Ensure designs comply with project specifications, codes, and client standards
- Update models and drawings based on client comments and site requirements
- Support construction and commissioning teams with design clarifications
- Maintain proper documentation and version control
Required Skills- Strong experience in E3D / S3D (Smart 3D) modeling
- Knowledge of electrical systems design in Oil & Gas projects
- Familiarity with cable sizing, routing, and load calculations (basic)
- Understanding of international codes and standards (IEC, IEEE, etc.)
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
