Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Overview
We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in semiconductor or automation domain. The role focuses on electrical schematics, cable & harness design, power distribution, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical schematics, single line diagrams, and panel layouts
- Develop cable & harness design (high priority) including routing and cable lists
- Design AC/DC power distribution systems and control panels
- Perform electrical calculations (load, breaker sizing, transformer, thermal)
- Design safety circuits (EMO, interlocks) as per standards
- Select components (breakers, sensors, drives, motors, connectors)
- Upgrade legacy systems and replace obsolete components
- Prepare BOM and technical documentation
- Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting
- Work with PLC-based systems for control and integration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in cable & harness design (mandatory)
- Electrical schematic & panel design
- Basic knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens / Allen-Bradley)
- Knowledge of IEC / NFPA / UL / NEC standards
- Tools: SEE Electrical / EPLAN / AutoCAD / DraftSight / Visio
- Basic PCB design knowledge (OrCAD, Altium, Eagle – low priority)
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2–4 years of relevant experience
