Role Description The Electrical Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane, responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and lighting control projects. This role includes preparing detailed electrical design drawings, layouts, and schematics for, lighting, and control systems. The engineer will perform load calculations, equipment selection, and cable selection while ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. Day-to-day tasks involve coordinating with project managers,m and controls engineers, and installation teams to ensure accurate design implementation and timely project delivery. The role also includes reviewing vendor documentation, supporting site inspections, resolving technical issues during commissioning, and contributing to design improvements and standar
dization.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, including understanding of electricity principles and practical application in building systems.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design and Design Engineering for lighting control, and related building services.
- Experience with Power Distribution systems design, including load calculations.
- Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and schematics using relevant CAD or design tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Prior experience in lighting control projects is preferred.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Strong problem-solving attitude, attention to detail, and readiness to work in dynamic project environments.
