Job descriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Preparation of tender specifications, data sheets, MRs, TBEs, DBR, and technical specifications
- Development of Single Line Diagrams (SLD), schematic diagrams, I/O lists, and control logics for EHV/MV/LV systems
- Perform substation engineering including conductor sizing, sag-tension analysis, protection philosophy, and short circuit force calculations (up to 220kV AIS/GIS)
- Equipment sizing for CT/PT, transformers, DC systems, UPS, switchgear, MCC, auxiliary systems
- Perform calculations for cables, cable tray sizing/loading, earthing and lighting systems
- Conduct system studies (Load Flow, Short Circuit, Motor Starting) using ETAP
- Review and verify engineering drawings such as Substation GA, Erection Key Diagrams, Earthmat, Raceway, Lighting & Equipment Layouts
- Preparation of cable schedules, DB schedules, and inter-panel wiring details
- Ensure quality and compliance by reviewing technical documents as per project scope
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders for engineering deliverables
- Participate in kick-off, progress, and technical meetings
- Support team development and maintain Lessons Learned database
