Role Description The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and reviewing electrical systems and layouts for projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and client requirements. This full-time on-site role, based in Bhopal, involves preparing detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and panel layouts using industry-standard tools. The role includes coordinating with cross-functional teams, such as mechanical, civil, and software engineering, to integrate electrical designs into overall project solutions. The engineer will perform load calculations, select appropriate electrical components, and support power distribution planning for new and existing installations. Daily tasks also include reviewing drawings, conducting design revisions, supporting project documentation, assisting during installation or commissioning phases, and communicating regularly with stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, with demonstrated knowledge of core principles and standards.
- Hands-on experience in Electrical Design and Design Engineering, including preparation and review of diagrams, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Understanding of Electricity fundamentals and practical applications in industrial or commercial environments.
- Knowledge of Power Distribution systems, including load analysis, protection schemes, and selection of equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency with relevant CAD and electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar tools).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, standards, and specifications with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Prior experience in industrial, infrastructure, or building services projects is an advantage, but motivated early-career professionals are also encouraged to apply.
