Role: Design Engineer – Electrical
Location: Pune, India
Salary: USD 2,940 Per Month + Standard Benefits + On-site opportunity (Africa)
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for Power Plant and Industrial Infrastructure projects.
Key Requirements:
8–10 years of experience in electrical design for industrial or power plant projects
Experience in gas-fired power plant projects preferred
Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, switchgear, transformers, substations & power distribution
Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, EPLAN or similar electrical design software
Experience in preparing SLDs, load calculations, cable sizing & electrical layouts
Familiarity with IEC / IEEE / NEC standards
Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Role Focus:
Preparation and review of electrical design drawings and technical documentation
Design coordination with civil, mechanical, instrumentation & project teams
Review of electrical layouts, cable routing, lighting systems & grounding systems
Support in BOQ preparation, technical evaluations & vendor coordination
Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality & safety standards
Coordination with EPC contractors, consultants & execution teams
Support installation, testing & commissioning teams with technical clarifications
Preparation of engineering reports, design calculations & project documentation
Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance with project standards
Participate in technical discussions, design reviews & stakeholder coordination meetings
International project exposure will be an advantage.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills preferred.
