We are seeking an experienced
Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical design tools and hands-on exposure to field installation and commissioning. This role requires both design capability and practical field knowledge to ensure smooth execution of electrical control systems.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and modify electrical control systems using WSCAD, EPLAN P8, and AutoCAD Electrical.
- Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bill of materials.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet technical, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems at project sites.
- Recognize and integrate various electrical components for effective system design.
- Provide technical support during the erection, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.
Necessary Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical controls engineering.
- Strong proficiency in WSCAD, EPLAN P8, and AutoCAD.
- Previous hands-on experience in field installation/erection/commissioning.
- Excellent understanding of electrical components and their applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a project-based environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards (IEC, NEC, etc.).
- Experience in automation systems, PLC integration, or panel building.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
