Role Description The Electrical CAD Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Gwalior. The role involves creating and updating detailed electrical CAD drawings, schematics, and layouts according to project requirements and engineering standards. The engineer will collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to ensure accurate integration of design elements, resolve design issues, and support physical design activities. Daily tasks include interpreting technical specifications, working with EDA tools and platforms, performing design reviews, and maintaining documentation for design changes. The role also includes coordinating with project stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety and quality guidelines, and supporting continuous improvement of design processes.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and platforms relevant to electrical design.
- Experience in Physical Design and understanding of layout, routing, and design optimization.
- Knowledge of EDA (Electronic Design Automation) tools and workflows for electrical and electronic systems.
- Hands-on experience with Cadence or similar industry-standard design suites.
- Background in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline to support electro-mechanical integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications accurately.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative on-site environment.
- Good communication skills and willingness to coordinate with cross-functional teams and project stakeholders.
