Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical BIM Modeler role based in Noida. The Electrical BIM Modeler will develop and maintain accurate electrical BIM models for building projects, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems. Responsibilities include interpreting design drawings and specifications, coordinating with MEP and architectural disciplines, and producing detailed construction documentation and shop drawings. The role involves working with BIM software to model systems, perform clash detection, update revisions, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards. The Electrical BIM Modeler will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other modelers to support design development, resolve technical issues, and meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in BIM tools and platforms such as Revit MEP, Navisworks, and related coordination software.
- Hands-on experience modeling electrical systems (lighting, power, ELV, fire alarm) and preparing construction documentation in a building services context.
- Good understanding of electrical design principles, relevant codes and standards, and best installation practices for MEP projects.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings, perform clash detection, and coordinate with structural and mechanical disciplines.
- Relevant technical education such as a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work to schedules and quality targets.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary project teams in an on-site environment.
- Previous experience in BIM modeling for healthcare, commercial, or large-scale building projects is an advantage.
