Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Electrical BIM Modeler with 3+ years of experience in Electrical BIM modeling. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Autodesk Revit MEP, experience working on LOD 400 and LOD 500 projects, and must have hands-on experience in Revit Family Creation. Experience working on international or Gulf projects is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Create electrical layouts including power, lighting, cable trays, conduits, grounding, and low-voltage systems.
- Prepare shop drawings, installation drawings, and as-built models.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, and Architectural teams.
- Perform clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks.
- Create, modify, and manage Revit families as per project requirements.
- Ensure BIM models comply with project standards and client requirements.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve model clashes.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical BIM Modeler.
- Must have experience working on LOD 400 and LOD 500 projects.
- Must have strong knowledge of Revit Family Creation and Family Management.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Experience with Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
- Good understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and BIM standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in Gulf or other international projects is an added advantage.
