Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical BIM Modeler with 4+ years of experience in BIM modeling and coordination for building projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Revit MEP, electrical system modeling, and multidisciplinary coordination.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create and develop detailed 3D BIM models for electrical systems using Revit MEP
- Prepare electrical shop drawings, layouts, and coordinated drawings
- Model systems including lighting, power, cable trays, conduits, fire alarm, and ELV systems
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, and Architectural teams
- Ensure compliance with project BIM standards and client requirements
- Work on LOD 300, LOD 400, and LOD 500 projects
- Participate in coordination meetings and resolve model clashes
- Create and manage Revit families as per project requirements
- Maintain model accuracy and timely project delivery
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and BIM workflows
- Experience in BIM coordination and clash resolution
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Qualification
- Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical Engineering
- BIM/Revit certification is an added advantage
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant BIM experience
- Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial projects
- Ability to work independently and handle project deadlines efficiently
