Role Description The Election Worker role at Seth Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The Election Worker will assist with voter registration activities, verify and update voter information, and help manage documentation and records. Daily tasks include handling queries from voters, providing clear information about election procedures, and offering courteous customer service at designated election offices or polling locations. The role involves clerical responsibilities such as data entry, filing, organizing forms, and preparing materials for election events. Election Workers will also support the setup and orderly operation of polling stations, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and protocols.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in voter registration processes and general elections procedures.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with voters and colleagues.
- Clerical skills including data entry, record-keeping, and document management.
- Customer service skills to provide respectful and helpful assistance to the public.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accuracy under time constraints.
- Basic computer literacy, including use of office software and electronic databases.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and respect for confidentiality.
- Completion of secondary education; post-secondary coursework in administration, public policy, or related fields is an advantage.
- Previous experience in administrative, public service, or election-related work is beneficial.
