About the Role:
Acmedian Technologies is hiring eLearning Courseware Developers, at both Specialist and Lead levels, to support a large-scale enterprise learning and development engagement. You'll build high-quality digital learning experiences, work with modular and AI-enabled authoring approaches, and collaborate within an agile, squad-based delivery model alongside Learning Experience Design, Visual Design, and QA teams. We're hiring for both levels together and will map candidates to the right role based on experience.
Key Responsibilities (Both Levels):
• Own end-to-end development of complex eLearning solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure outputs meet SCORM/xAPI and cross-platform standards.
• Apply AI and modern tooling to streamline development workflows and pilot new, scalable approaches to content creation.
• Embed quality and accessibility practices throughout the build process, ensuring deliverables meet WCAG compliance through thorough testing and validation.
• Partner with clients, Learning Experience Design, Visual Design, and QA to shape interaction approaches, align on feasibility, and deliver iteratively in an agile way of working.
• Contribute to cross-functional squads, balancing hands-on development with coordination and technical input.
• Share best practices in advanced authoring and emerging tools through peer review and knowledge sharing.
Additional Responsibilities — Lead Only
• Supervise and mentor direct reports; manage team capacity, clarify priorities, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
• Coach developers across skill levels through onboarding, feedback, and structured peer review.
• Lead cross-functional squads end-to-end, balancing hands-on delivery with technical leadership.
What We're Looking For-
Common Requirements — Both Levels
• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• Proven proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (LMS), backed by a strong portfolio.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for building interactive content integrated into SCORM assets; solid understanding of SCORM, xAPI, and LMS technical specifications.
• Experience creating gamified interactions within Articulate Storyline, interactive PDFs, and multimedia integration.
• Exposure to AI tools or automation in content development workflows.
• Comfort working within Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborating with stakeholders across functions.
• Learning agility, discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Specialist — Experience
• 1–3 years of eLearning development experience, ideally within a complex, matrixed environment.
• Individual-contributor mindset with a track record of owning deliverables end-to-end and contributing technical expertise within a team.
Lead — Experience
• 3–5 years of eLearning development experience within a complex, matrixed environment.
• Demonstrated project management skills and proven track record mentoring and developing team members, fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture.
• Experience operating as a "player-coach" — hands-on delivery combined with people leadership.
Preferred (Both Levels)
• Skilled in applying and testing accessibility features for WCAG, ADA, and Section 508 compliance.
• Knowledge of graphic design principles, UI/UX, and adult learning theories.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, OneNote, Planner, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot).
• Enthusiasm for leveraging digital technologies and automation to enhance productivity and learning outcomes.
