Job Title: Field Facilitator No. of Vacancies: 35 Location: Gumla (Jharkhand) Full/Part time: Full-Time Duration: One year (renewable) Remuneration : Rs. 12,000 – Rs. 18,000/- per month (including all deductions and perquisites) About Organisation: EKJUT is a non-profit voluntary organization of India. Its partnering communities are the indigenous people, people living in the underserved districts and the urban homeless. Ekjut works on the theme of Survive, Blossom, Thrive and Transform. About the Position: The Field Coordinator will play a key role in implementing community-level interventions as outlined in the project. The role involves community mobilisation, conducting prioritised home visits, ensuring quality of PLA meetings and supporting service delivery at the community level. The Field Coordinator will work closely with frontline workers (FLWs), community groups, and stakeholders to strengthen maternal and child health and nutrition outcomes. Job Responsibilities: Strengthening prioritised Home Visits. Supporting service delivery at VHSNDs and other community-based platforms. Establishing Nutri-gardens. Supporting SNP. Community mobilisation through Monthly PLA Meetings and other activities. Supporting master trainers for the trainings of FLWs. Community based Reporting and Documentation. Any other responsibilities given by the organization for program and organizational development. Required Competencies: Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Social Work or similar fields. Work Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience working in community-based health and nutrition programs, preferably in rural settings. Prior experience in facilitating group discussions, home visits, and coordinating with FLW. Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with communities and stakeholders. Ability to effectively facilitate group meetings and use communication tools. Basic understanding of maternal and child health and nutrition programs. Proficiency in local language(s) and familiarity with the intervention area.
