About the role

Job Description

  • Business and Functional Analysis
  • Collect requirements using interviews, workshops, document reviews, site visits, business process mapping, use case creation, and workflow analysis.
  • Perform gap analyses and feasibility studies to uncover potential challenges and opportunities.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to establish business rules, define use cases, design interfaces, outline acceptance criteria, prioritize requirements based on business values, risks and business constraints.
  • Develop business process models, data flow diagrams, and other supporting artifacts to facilitate analysis and informed decision-making.
  • Convert business needs into comprehensive functional requirements and detailed technical specifications.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, design specifications, change requests, and testing outcomes.
  • Team Collaboration
  • Clearly transfer functional requirements to team members.
  • Work alongside the Project Manager and Design team to break tasks into meaningful deliverables for the client.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure requirements align with test cases.
  • Support teams in building effective customer interactions and ensuring end-user satisfaction.
  • Methodology and Best Practices
  • Establish, evaluate, and enhance Business Analysis practices for both onshore and offshore models.
  • Recognize and escalate any risks associated with client relationships.
  • Support change management by keeping stakeholders informed and ready for process and system updates.
  • Implement best practices for documentation, including maintaining a repository for requirements, decisions, and change requests.

Desired Skills And Experience

  • 2+ years in a Business Analyst role in the IT industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or Finance.
  • Proficiency in UML diagrams (Use Case, Sequence), flow diagrams.
  • Strong experience with writing functional specifications, UX description, wireframe design, and business rule documentation.
  • Strong understanding of system development lifecycles (SDLC), process modeling, and requirements management.
  • Customer-focused, team-oriented, with strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively across multiple teams.
  • Skilled in making decisions and comfortable challenging clients’ assumptions about business requirements and processes.
  • Excellent English (written and verbal) with the ability to engage professionally with diverse groups, including executives.
  • French language skills are an advantage.
