Eighty Days is a vibrant travel utility company based in Mumbai, seeking a Sr. Mobile Engineer with expertise in React Native. We are a small business and marketing team of four, looking for an individual contributor who can take charge of our mobile application development and eventually lead a team. Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in mobile application development with React Native.
• Proven track record of building products from 0 to 1.
• Experience working in a small team of 4-5 engineers.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native.
• Design and implement user-friendly interfaces and experiences.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate mobile applications with server-side logic.
• Optimize mobile applications for performance, scalability, and usability.
• Ensure mobile applications are robust, secure, and maintainable.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in mobile development.

Interview Process

1. Initial Screening - A brief screening round to understand your background and fit for the role.
2. Intro Call with the Founder - An informal discussion to get to know you better.
3. Technical Round - An in-depth technical interview to assess your skills and experience.
4. Final Round with the Founder - A comprehensive discussion to finalize your candidacy.

The entire process is expected to take about 2-3 weeks. Candidates should be prepared to discuss their previous projects and experience with React Native, particularly those involving product development from scratch.

Work Setup

• Location: Mumbai (Tardeo)
• Working Hours: 10 AM to 8 PM
• No relocation bonus is offered.
• A MacBook Air M1 will be provided.
