Our company has an opening for a Software Engineer where you will work alongside a team of software engineers and analysts using technology to solve business problems and make an impact on the school. We maintain a suite of web apps (React), business systems (Salesforce, Office365, Dialpad) and infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes). Responsibilities/Requirements:

• 2+ years’ programming experience with TypeScript
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Maintaining and expanding CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of serverless patterns and infrastructure
• Work with project managers to ensure delivery of tasks in a timely manner
• Providing feedback on peer reviews to team members
• Self-starter who can work independently without a lot of supervision
• Work collaboratively as part of a broader engineering team, sharing ideas and experience wherever possible
• Produce and maintain detailed design documentation and specifications for features
• Minimum of 2 years commercial software development experience
  
  

Additional Skills (nice to have):

• Experience with containerisation i.e. ECS, Kubernetes and/or Docker
• Experience with one other programming language i.e. Python, Java, .NET
• Experience in E2E testing frameworks such as Cypress
• Experience with monitoring tools such as DataDog
• Experience with React
