Senior Technician, IT plays a critical role in ensuring stability, reliability, and effective support of business‑critical applications by working closely with business users and technical teams. The role is hands‑on and user‑facing, offering opportunities to develop strong expertise in business processes, enterprise systems, and system integrations.
How you’ll make an impact:
•Provides first-line investigation and diagnose of incidents.
•Resolves those incidents and service requests within the IT support skillset.
•Escalates the Incidents and Service Requests that they cannot be resolved
•Track all relevant Incident and Service Request details, prioritize and close tickets.
•Builds productive internal working relationships by having close follow-up and collaboration with operation teams to resolve issues or requests raised in a timely manner and meeting agreed service levels as well as KPIs.
•Seeks to know and understand the key stakeholders. Applies sound judgement and escalates where necessary. Provides clear and regular communication to end users and co-workers via oral and written communications.
What you’ll need (Required):
•H.S Diploma or equivalent of Information Technology related degree
•3 years of hands‑on experience in an application support or IT support role.
•Ability to adapt to new technologies, rapidly changing environment to support interfaces with multiple systems
•Good problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.
•Demonstrated ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across diverse backgrounds, cultures, and time zones, with strong collaboration and communication skills.
What else we look for (Preferred):
•Basic understanding and knowledge of ERP enterprise information systems (such as JDE, SAP, MES), Finance application (such as SAP, Coupa, Concur) or Contract management application.
•Experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments, collaborating with IT teams, business partners, and external vendors
•Demonstrates knowledge of IT best practices. Familiarity with ITIL principles or certification is an advantage.
•Strong interpersonal skills with a clear sense of responsibility, commitment, and a customer‑focused mindset.
•Proactive and self‑driven, with a positive and continuous‑improvement‑oriented attitude.
•Goal‑oriented and able to prioritize work independently based on business impact, urgency, and service commitments.
